Amberlite™ BD10DRY™ technology can completely replace water washing. After the methyl-ester phase has been separated from the glycerol phase, it is passed through the Amberlite™ BD10DRY™ system. Methanol is then easily recovered from the pure biodiesel.

The Amberlite™ BD10DRY™ purification system converts crude biodiesel made from any feedstock to fuel surpassing any global biodiesel standard.

As it is a completely closed and dry system, the Amberlite™ BD10DRY™ process eliminates water and wastewater costs, and boasts higher yields and less biodiesel waste.

Methanol recovery is simplified. In the absence of water, methanol can easily be separated from the biodiesel with a simple flash or spray dryer.

The Amberlite™ BD10DRY™ process requires no filters or filtering accessories, thus facilitating operation, and limiting cost.
