AMBERLYST™ Ion Exchange Resins

Weak Base Anions - Sorted in alpha-numerical order

AMBERLYST™ polymer based weak base anionic ion exchange resins involve the use of functionalized styrene divinylbenzene, polyacrylic or formophenolic copolymers with different surface properties and porosities. The functional group is generally a tertiary amine group. These resins are supplied as macroreticular spherical beads or in case of the formophenolic resin as granulars. They have been used for 40 years in a wide variety of reactions and purification processes.

Depending on the application, the separation to be done, and the selectivity required, different copolymers will give different results in the separation. The three weak base anionic resins have been optimized to provide high operating capacities, good elution, excellent chemical resistance, low rinse water requirement and little swelling.
